Zalchos Compliance & Responsible Alcohol Delivery

Zalchos is a technology marketplace platform that connects customers with licensed liquor retailers for on-demand alcohol delivery.

Zalchos does not sell, own, or warehouse alcohol inventory. All alcohol purchases are fulfilled by licensed retailers in compliance with provincial liquor regulations.

All retailers onboarding to Zalchos must provide a valid provincial liquor license during the vendor registration process.

Licenses are verified before the retailer can accept orders on the platform.

Retailers remain fully responsible for complying with local alcohol laws and regulations.

Zalchos enforces a strict compliance verification process for all vendors joining the marketplace:

• Retailers must upload a valid liquor license document during the onboarding process.
• The submitted license must be reviewed and approved by a Zalchos platform administrator.
• Retailer accounts remain inactive and cannot accept orders until license verification is complete.

Customers must meet the legal drinking age in their province.

Age verification occurs at two stages:

• At checkout — customers must confirm they meet the legal drinking age for their province.
• At delivery — a government-issued photo ID must be presented to the delivery driver.

Zalchos delivery partners follow strict responsible delivery guidelines including:

• Verifying government-issued photo ID for all alcohol deliveries.
• Refusing delivery to anyone who appears visibly intoxicated.
• Refusing delivery to anyone who cannot provide valid identification.
• Never delivering alcohol to individuals under the legal drinking age.
• Complying with all provincial regulations governing alcohol delivery.
• Completing mandatory responsible service training before making deliveries.

Payments are processed using Stripe Connect marketplace payments.

Licensed retailers receive the alcohol sale revenue.

Zalchos collects service and delivery fees for facilitating the order and delivery logistics.

Zalchos operates in accordance with provincial alcohol delivery regulations across Canada and partners only with licensed retailers.

Retailers remain responsible for maintaining valid liquor licenses and complying with local liquor control authorities.
